Meryl Streep does an excellent job as usual in this romantic comedy/romp. She is sincere, modest and funny. Alec Baldwin as Jake, Jane’s (Streep) ex husband is hysterical. Too bad there was not enough to keep the film from getting ridiculously schmaltzy. Nancy Meyers wrote and directed It’s Complicated and the premise is pretty good....
