Now on DVD: The Reader

The Reader won Kate Winslet a long overdue Oscar.  I do have to admit she was excellent in this film.  I, however, did not care for it.  The film is centered around Hanna Schmitz, Winslet, and a young Michael Berg, played by David Kross.  One day he gets violently ill and she helps him out....

Out Now – The Girlfriend Experience

I had to sit on my thoughts all day before coming to terms with this review. At first view, I thought “this is a SNORE fest”. The story is non-existent, the main character is flat, the entire movie…..SELF INDULGENT. I mean c’mon. Who is going to give a rat’s ass about a bunch of selfish...

Out on DVD – Rachel Getting Married

I had huge expectations going in for this little gem and boy, it did not disappoint. During the entire movie I felt as though I was a fly on the wall witnessing endless train-wrecking and salvation all at the same time. I even had to put the tube on mute for a scene that can...
